WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar’s Return Date Appears To Be Getting Closer

WWE is just two weeks away from its next Pay-Per-View, as Payback will air live on May 17. After that is Money in the Bank on June 14 and Battleground on July 19. A month after that will be WWE SummerSlam, and by then, it is fully expected that “The Beast” Brock Lesnar will be a huge part of the end of the summer spectacular, but when will he return?

For now, Lesnar has been indefinitely suspended by WWE for his recent actions, where he has destroyed virtually anyone that got near him. Well, except for Paul Heyman, but that is to be expected.

It is almost a guarantee that Lesnar will be back in time for SummerSlam and will likely have a big match at the event. It isn’t known what type of match or who he will be wrestling against, but it likely won’t be Seth Rollins.

If he’s on that card, then it means that Lesnar will be back on WWE television sometime earlier. Sense would have him show up at Battleground or on Monday Night RAW the day after so that a feud can be set up and have time to build.

Cageside Seats has said that Lesnar will indeed be on the card, but he won’t be winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title.

It is fully expected that Brock Lesnar will want to go after Seth Rollins once he returns from his suspension. Rollins is the reason that Lesnar lost the title and the reason he went ballistic and ultimately got suspended.

Now, there’s no telling if Rollins will even still have the title by the end of the summer. If he does, it would be strange for Lesnar to not want to go after him for revenge and try to recapture his title.

Should Lesnar go after Rollins and have that match at SummerSlam, it would make no sense to have “The Beast” lose. He surely wouldn’t lose cleanly, and it would take interference to cause a disqualification — or maybe Rollins runs away and sets up for a feud that keeps going.

Everyone knows that in a straight-up fight, Lesnar would absolutely decimate Rollins, but WWE won’t kill the former Shield member’s momentum like that.

Either way, there are still probably about two months until Brock Lesnar officially returns to WWE television. He will be back to set up a feud of some sort for SummerSlam, and be well on his way to having everyone head to “Suplex City” again.
