Prince Harry Gushes About The New Princess: The Royal Baby Is ‘Absolutely Beautiful’
Prince Harry most likely had to take in the new royal baby just like the rest of us — through photos and maybe a video or two. After all, he’s stationed in Australia while he serves time with the Australian Defense force and won’t be back in the U.K. until May.
According to People, that didn’t stop Prince Harry from issuing a statement via Kensington Palace about his new royal niece. The prince declared the princess to be “absolutely beautiful.”
While the rest of the world seems to be arguing over whether the little princess will be called Alice, Charlotte, or named Diana after her famous paternal grandmother, People claims the official name is to be announced sometime on Sunday.
Even though Prince Harry will have to wait a while to see his little niece in person, the new royal baby did receive a visit from her Auntie Pippa Middleton and her maternal grandparents on Sunday.
The statement from the palace read that parents William and Kate are thrilled with their little princess and are thankful for the well-wishes received from around the world.
“The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the messages of congratulations they have received from people all over the world. It means a great deal to them that so many people have celebrated the arrival of their new daughter.”
The growing royal family had a royal visit from Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, on Sunday, too, according to CNN.
Kate and the baby are said to be doing just fine as they adjust after the birth on Saturday.
So what’s next for the baby, who is fourth in line to the throne, other than meeting her Uncle Harry?
It’s unlikely she’ll make it to the throne, but she’ll still live a life very much in the public eye. Until it’s time for school in a few years, she’ll likely be shielded from the public eye as much as her brother, Prince George. Once it’s time for school, she and her brother may take the surname Cambridge, according to CNN.
Thankfully, right now the little girl only has the responsibilities of being an adorable little baby and nothing else. Sleeping, eating, and messing up clean diapers are the only things on the agenda right now, even in the life of a newly born baby princess.
