Woman Captured On Surveillance Video Laughing As She Encourages Her Dog To Maul Kitten To Death

A woman was captured on CCTV footage removing her dog from his leash while encouraging him to attack a black kitten perched on top of a fence. The dog pulled the kitten from the fence and proceeded to maul it to death as the woman looked on laughing.

The Daily Mail reports that 24-year-old Stephanie Curwen was walking her dog when the pet “playfully” lunged towards a kitten perched high on a fence. Instead of restraining the dog and continuing her walk, Curwen can be seen in the video releasing her dog from his leash and encouraging him to go after the small kitten. The dog can be seen pulling the kitten from the fence with its teeth but the kitten is able to run away. At this point, Curwen releases the dog from the leash and allows him to chase the kitten.

The kitten makes it to another fence top where, again, the dog pulls it down. However, this time the dog fatally bites the kitten. The entire event lasted about six minutes and at no point does the woman attempt to restrain the dog or help the kitten. Instead, she can be seen smiling and laughing as her dog maul the tiny kitten to death. The attack doesn’t stop until a neighbor pulls up and removes the kitten from the dog’s mouth.

Curwen, who resides in England, was seen in court but walked away without any jail time after her sentence was suspended. However, Curwen will not be allowed to own a pet for the next 10 years and will be required to pay the kitten’s owner $423 in damages.
