Elle Macpherson Still Has “The Body” At 47

Elle Macpherson recently proved that she still has the body she became famous for. On a recent photo shoot for PEOPLE Magazine, Elle flaunted her perfect curves in nothing but a triangle bikini. It was the supermodel’s first bikini shoot in over 6 years, but she showed that nothing has changed, despite time and two children.

The model said that her killer body is the result of exercise, a healthy diet, and good genes, but never plastic surgery. She even admits that she is not without her self-conscious moments. After the shoot she said, “I do get jitters…I was comfortable [at the shoot]. But I had to get my self-conscious ‘maybe I don’t look my best’ head out of the way and go with, ‘Let’s celebrate where I’m at.’ ”

Macpherson still models occasionally, but most of her attention has been put on raising her two boys, Flynn, 14, and Cy, 9, as well as promoting her business empire. Like fellow supermodel Kathy Ireland, Macpherson has made her niche in business with an worldwide empire that includes the Elle Macpherson Intimates lingerie line.

In her latest new adventure, Elle became the host and executive producer of Fashion Star, a show on NBC that premiered Tuesday. She hosts the show alongside celebrity mentors Nicole Richie and Jessica Simpson. Macpherson said of Simpson’s pregnancy, that she “looks so beautiful.” She went on to tell of her own pregnancies, “My butt was huge, my breasts and stomach were huge. I didn’t do maternity wear – instead I bought huge clothes in an attempt to be fashionable.” The supermodel said that she gained over 50 lbs. each time she was pregnant.
