Watch Pakistan Vs. Bangladesh Cricket Day 5 Live Online: 1st Test — Pakistan Reels From Tiger Comeback

Watch an exciting day of cricket live online as Pakistan tries desperately on day five to recover from a shocking Bangladesh comeback in the First Test the previous day at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna, Bangladesh. With a record-setting unbeaten stand by openers Tamim Iqbal and Imrul Kayes, who made all but 23 runs of what had been an imposing 296 run Pakistan lead vanish — in just two sessions.

Both Iqbal and Kayes scored centuries — for Iqbal the seventh Test century of his career — as their partnership produced 273 runs off of 61 overs by employing a stunningly aggressive approach rarely seen in Test cricket.

“We didn’t expect Bangladesh to play this way,” admitted a shaken Pakistan batsman Asad Shafiq, once stumps were pulled for the day.

Iqbal put up his first 50 off just 63 balls, mixing in seven fours in a pace more likely to be found in a T20 match than on day four of a Test.

While Pakistan piled up what looked to an insurmountable lead on day three, coming into Friday with five wickets in hand, the morning session saw a sudden collapse as all five of those wickets fell with just 34 additional runs put in the board.

Bangladesh took over with just four overs remaining before lunch. But in the second session, Iqbal and Kayes aggressively assumed command of the Test match. By the time tea rolled around, Iqbal had 81 runs and Kayes recorded his half-century.

But despite entering the final day facing the prospect of taking all 10 Bangladesh wickets in time to find a victory, Pakistan remained confident.

“We lost three sessions so far out of twelve and this doesn’t reflect that we played bad cricket… But we have to give some credit the way they batted. They played aggressive cricket and attacked our bowlers. We weren’t expecting it and that’s the reason our bowlers came under pressure.”
