Maroon 5’s Adam Levine Gets Haircuts From His Wife

Maroon 5’s Adam Levine is one of the biggest heartthrobs on the planet, so it may surprise you to find that his signature look is not a result of a fancy stylist or team, but rather his supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo.

In a photo posted by Levine’s wife on Instagram @behatiprinsloo the 25 year old supermodel can be seen in two side by side pics, slicing off a thick chunk of Adam Levine’s hair.

The caption on the pic also reads “Give me them scissors! PS-WHAT AM I WEARING????,” bridged together by some clever emoticons, including a pair of scissors. The look on Adam’s face is not exactly the most reassuring either, but by the second pic, it all seems to have turned out all right.

Prinsloo seems to be prepping Adam as he is set to re-appear on NBC’s The Voice as it approaches the close of Season 8. Taped live, Levine, alongside judges Blake Shelton, Pharrell, and Christina Aguilera, features up and coming singers squaring off against each other while being coached by one superstar, respectively.

Most recently, Team Shelton suffered a major blow, according to Yahoo TV.

“Two of Blake Shelton’s contestants, Corey Kent White and Hannah Kirby, went home — thus cutting the once-unstoppable coach’s chances of winning a fifth season by about 66 percent. Apparently there is an ‘I’ in ‘Team (Blake),’ because now that team consists of just one member.”

Meanwhile, Team Adam’s one and only contestant, Joshua Davis, was the first to advance to the next round, according to Michigan Live. When asked what the strategy behind Joshua’s ongoing success on The Voice was, Levine simply responded to host Carson Daly that he will “let Joshua continue to pick his own songs. That makes sense to [him].”

Ratings for this week’s episode also helped propel NBC to victory for the night according to Variety. The Voice wraps it’s eighth season on May 19, and immediately following, Adam will join Maroon 5 as they begin the international leg of their world tour in support of V, their fifth record.

As reported by Inquisitr, Maroon 5 will venture across Europe this summer before landing in Southeast Asia, and finally Australia. Recently, tickets for the Levine lead band’s upcoming gig at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall in Tawain sold out in less than twelve minutes, indicating just how popular Adam Levine and Maroon 5 are.

Part of the credit must, apparently, go to Adam Levine’s wife, Behati Prinsloo.
