Camille Grammer Updates Fans On Cancer Battle, Says She Isn’t Ready To Date

Camille Grammer has been cancer free for a year, but the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star isn’t quite ready to start dating again. In a new interview, Grammer spoke out about her recovery and revealed she simply doesn’t have enough time to get back to the dating pool.

“Every day a little better, a little stronger,” Camille Grammer told People Magazine on April 30 of her cancer battle, adding that while she’s currently cancer free, the disease could return.

“The cancer I had is called clear cell carcinoma, and it can show up anywhere at any time. There’s always that little fear in the back of my head, it could show up in my colon, my stomach, my brain. I do worry about that. But now, I’m not going to focus on that. I’m just going to think positive and really [about] my kids, so I focus on my children and I love being around them, and I do it all for them.”

Camille has two children, Mason and Jude, from her marriage to Kelsey Grammer, which ended years ago after the actor engaged in a highly publicized affair with flight attendant Kayte Walsh. Since the marriage ended, Camille Grammer has done some dating, but nothing has stuck. Luckily, Grammer doesn’t seem to mind.

“I have [guy] friends, but I keep it light because I’m not ready. You know, I’ve been really focusing on my children; I’m a single mom, so I’m basically the father and the mother in the situation. I was saying to my girlfriend, ‘I really don’t have time to date.’ I’m looking forward to it in the future.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Camille Grammer is one of two wives who are reportedly in talks for a possible Real Housewives of Beverly Hills return. According to a report by Life & Style magazine last month, Kim Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Kyle Richards are all said to be in jeopardy of losing their roles on the show. The source also claims that if they do get axed, Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof could fill their spots.

Camille Grammer appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a full-time housewife during the show’s first two seasons. Then, after Season 2, she quit the series, only to return to months later as a friend of the wives. Since then, Camille Grammer has made a number of appearance on the show.
