Melissa Gorga Supports Teresa Giudice: Lawyer Confirms Possible Return To ‘RHONJ’

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has been trying to keep her silence when it comes to her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, because she knows that Teresa doesn’t want her to talk to the press about her life. Prior to the sentence being handed down, Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, were asked to please refrain from talking about the legal situation.

But now that Giudice is behind bars and things have settled down in New Jersey, Melissa Gorga is starting to share her feelings about the situation. There have been reports that Giudice’s children are struggling with the mother behind bars, but Gorga has revealed that she hasn’t actually seen her sister-in-law since she reported to jail in January.

According to a new Us Weekly report, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is now speaking out about how Teresa is doing behind bars. Gorga recently attended the HealthCorps’ 9th Annual Gala hosted by Dr. Mehmet Oz and Lisa Oz at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC, and she provided a brief update.

“She’s doing as well as can be expected for the situation,” Melissa Gorga revealed briefly, adding, “You know, she’s doing well for what’s going on.”

Even though Gorga isn’t speaking out so much about her sister-in-law, Giudice’s lawyer has revealed that Teresa may return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey once she is released. There are details that would have to be ironed out between the family and Bravo, but it sounds like they are waiting for Teresa to be released. Even though many people had hoped the show would go on with simply Melissa Gorga as the main link to Giudice, Bravo could be holding out until the cast is reunited.

“Anyone who has watched that show since the very first episode understands that Teresa Giudice is the central figure around which the show revolves,” her lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr., has revealed, adding, “That’s not to take anything away from any of the other women, but Teresa has been the focal point for the last six seasons, and I don’t expect that to change moving forward, assuming both sides can agree on a contract.”

As for Melissa Gorga, she will probably return to the show if she is asked by Bravo. Melissa recently went on a vacation with her husband, and it sounds like she will continue to shut down comments regarding her sister-in-law. According to the Inquisitr, Gorga recently shut down Patti Stanger after she began fishing after comments.

What do you think about Melissa Gorga’s brief comments? Do you think Bravo should film a season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey without Teresa?
