‘RHOBH’ Friends Brandi Glanville & Kim Richards Are Still In Touch, Glanville Feels Bad For Her

RHOBH friends Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards caused a stir during Season 5, and appeared to have grown apart after the reunion. However, according to a new podcast, Glanville has been in touch with Richards in the weeks since her highly publicized alcohol arrest in Los Angeles.

According to an April 30 report by the Daily Mail Online, Glanville spoke out during a podcast titled For Crying Out Loud, revealing she recently spoke to Richards, and expressing her concern for her friend.

“I feel bad for her. It’s a disease you fight every single day. Every day you have to make the choice not to drink, not to do drugs. It’s tough … I know every day’s a struggle.”

The RHOBH friends’ relationship was a hot topic amongst their co-star throughout the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. On the show, the RHOBH friends’ relationship appeared unhealthy, with Glanville suggesting Richards distance herself from her sister. As the season continued, Glanville alleged Kyle had been manipulating her for years, and convinced her that time away from her sister would force Kyle to have more respect for her.

The RHOBH friends’ relationship became further concerning to their co-stars after Glanville revealed Richards told her she was her “best friend.” Because of Glanville’s constant confrontations with Kyle, her friendship with Kim appeared odd, and as time went on, more and more of her co-stars, and fans, questioned her intentions.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, more details of Glanville’s podcast chat about Richards were revealed earlier this morning. At the time, it was noted that Glanville wouldn’t reveal what she and Richards discussed during their most recent conversation. That said, she did discuss several issues regarding her friend’s sobriety.

“My thing is, you can’t help somebody that doesn’t want help. And if they say, ‘I’m fine,’ then in their head, they’re fine. And there’s nothing you can do until they say ‘I want to get help. I think I have a problem.’ It’s not anyone’s job to point it out because they’re in denial and they, you know, they just don’t believe it themselves yet.”

Glanville went on to say that while she never saw her drink or do drugs, she did witness “odd behavior.”

Although the RHOBH friends have been in touch, Richards may not be thrilled with Glanville’s recent interview, which appeared to diss her for being in denial about her sobriety issues.
