Taylor Swift Parties With Serayah From ‘Empire,’ Haim, Ellie Goulding & Calvin Harris

Taylor Swift has added a new girl to her growing group of friends. The “Blank Space” singer was photographed with Serayah McNeil from Fox’s hit show, Empire, at a barbecue on Tuesday night.

Perez Hilton noted that the two girls posed in various Instagram photos. The actress even shared some of the photos on her Instagram account. In one of the photos, Swift and McNeil smiled for the camera as the Haim sisters photo bombed the three way selfie.

Taylor’s new friend captioned the photo: “Woes,” along with a kissing emoji.

Swift also publicly announced their new friendship with a group photo on Instagram that featured actress Halston Stage, Haim, and Lorde. As you can see in the photo below, Swift sits front and center on a retro bike. Elle believes the singer likes to advertise her friendships on the photo-sharing app. The group looks as if they’re posing for a fashion advertisement or a TV show promotion. Some fans don’t like it when Swift stages her group photos and party pics.

Of course, the new group photo didn’t come without its share of scrutiny from Swifties on social media. Swift’s fans turned to Twitter to exclaim talk about her staged group photos and that she’s finally friends with a person of color.

Those weren’t the only people at the barbecue. Taylor’s good friend, Ellie Goulding, and her rumored new boyfriend, Calvin Harris, were also at the party. Ellie thanked Calvin on Twitter for cooking dinner, according to Hello.

The “Love Me Like You Do” singer also posed for a photo alongside Swift and McNeil, including the caption: “Seray and sertay. 100 [percent] sober.”

Harris visited Swift’s Los Angeles place for a house party. Not only does he turn tables and produce music, but he cooks as well! It looks like Harris was there to meet Swift’s closest group of friends. Although the DJ was absent from the group photos, he shared a photo of the singer’s cats, Meredith and Olivia Benson. Harris noted that the cats were having a “moment.”

It seems like he friends get along well with Taylor’s friends. An alleged source told Hollywood Life about the meeting.

“They’re aware he’s treated Taylor great so far. She’s told them glowing things about how well-mannered he is towards her, so they think Calvin could be perfect for her.”

Taylor and Calvin appear to be going strong, even though reports surfaced that he’s using her to advance in his fame. The two have been spending a lot more time together before Taylor embarks on her 1989 world tour.

The two sparked romance rumors back in March when they were spotted flirting at the VIP room at the 2015 Brit Awards. Taylor also won an award for best International Female Solo Artist.
