‘Girl Meets World’ Season 2 Spoilers: Mr. Turner Returns (Photo)

Girl Meets World fans are in for a big treat in Season 2. Tons of old Boy Meets World favorites are returning to the show including the elusive Mr. Turner, whom hasn’t been seen by fans in a very long time.

According to Hollywood Life, Anthony Tyler Quinn, who played Johnathan Turner on Boy Meets World will be back to guest star on Girl Meets World Season 2, and fans couldn’t be more excited. The last time viewers saw Mr. Turner was when he was in a terrible motorcycle accident and in a hospital bed as Shawn Hunter prayed for him. After that story line the gang grew older and finished high school with no sight of Turner, and only one mention of him during the episode when Cory, Topanga, and Shawn graduated high school.

Now, it’s time to see what Mr. Turner has been up to. Could he still be teaching English back at John Adams in Philidelphia? Did he ever get married and have children of his own? We can’t wait to find out.

This week, Ben Savage, who plays Cory Matthews on the show tweeted out a teaser photo of he and his former teacher.

“It’s good to see you again Mr. Turner.”

Of course, longtime lovers of Boy Meets World were instantly thrilled by the photo, and the news that Anthony Tyler Quinn was returning to guest star on the show. Of course, he’ll have to have scenes with Shawn Hunter. Mr. Turner is the man who took Shawn in as a child when his parents were both gone, and taught him about being a dependable, stable, and loving parental figure, and surely he shaped Shawn’s life with his lessons.

Perhaps, as Shawn continues to struggle in his adult life, Turner can offer some words of wisdom for Shawn to learn from yet again.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mr. Turner isn’t the only Boy Meets World alumni returning for Season 2 of Girl Meets World. There will be tons of reunions this season as Cory’s big brother Eric Matthews is set to return as well as Mr. Feeny, the gangs longtime mentor, and Angela, Shawn’s first love.

It’s safe to say that fans are beginning to love Girl Meets World almost as much as they loved Boy Meets World, and with cameos by former beloved characters like Eric, Turner, Feeny, Angela, Minkus, Harley, and more it’s seems that the show is becoming an instant hit with kids and their parents.
