BioWare Isn’t Done With ‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ Just Yet, Now Working On New Undisclosed Content

While BioWare is remaining tight lipped about continued work on Dragon Age: Inquisition, it looks like fans of the popular role-playing franchise still have something to look forward to after the title’s first DLC lands on all remaining platforms after releasing on the Xbox One and PC earlier this year as a timed exclusive. Giving fans hope for continued support for the game, Dragon Age: Inquisition creative director Mike Laidlaw confirmed on Twitter that the team still has plans to continue developing content for the title in the future.

Unfortunately, Laidlaw couldn’t go into details about exactly what is being worked on. For now, Dragon Age: Inquisition fans will simply have to take comfort in knowing that BioWare still has something that they hope to bring to the game after they release the “Jaws of Hakkon” DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition across all platforms.

“Well, we’re still working on some stuff! Can’t say what exactly, though.”

It appears that Laidlaw is referencing new content that is in development besides the upcoming free Black Emporium update that is also expected to launch in May, since BioWare has already discussed the features that will accompany that update at length. However, it isn’t known at this time what this new secretive content for Dragon Age: Inquisition will be. Laidlaw didn’t provide any further hints about whether this could entail another DLC pack or a smaller title update.

For now, the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition‘s first DLC on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation consoles is the next big news that fans have to be excited over. While the add-on is scheduled to release at some point in May, the Inquisitr reported last week that Dragon Age: Inquisition executive producer Mark Darrah recently confirmed that they are unable to discuss exactly when the DLC will launch.

When the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC launched on Xbox One and PC, BioWare told gamers that the exclusivity contract with Microsoft prevented them from talking about when the content will launch. Even though players now know that the add-on will become available for all systems beginning next month, the developer still can’t reveal an exact release date. Laidlaw expressed to Dragon Age: Inquisition fans that BioWare would like to be able to announce exactly when the DLC will launch but the decision is out of their hands.

“Hopefully our PS4 fans will realize that if we could give them that date yet, we would have by now.”
