‘Dance Moms’ Spoilers: Nia’s Video Is Released, Abby Confirms New Studio In Season 5 Mid-Season Finale
Tuesday night’s episode of Dance Moms is the first part of the Season 5 mid-season finale and it’s going to be jam-packed with action and drama. Nia Frazier’s music video is about to be released, but not everybody is all that excited for her. In addition, Abby Lee Miller makes a big announcement to her group about the future of the Abby Lee Dance Company. What Dance Moms spoilers are available for the April 28 episode?
As TV Guide notes, this episode is titled “Showdown in Pittsburgh, Part 1.” Abby and the girls are back in Pittsburgh, but not for long. As a Dance Moms spoiler preview on the show’s Facebook page shows, Miller finally makes it official: she’s opening a location in Los Angeles.
Abby talks about the history and the success of the ALDC in Pittsburgh, but she says that she needs to strike while the iron is hot in terms of expanding. She’s spent much of this season setting her sights on conquering Los Angeles and now the rest of the Pittsburgh company knows it’s really happening.
In addition, Holly is thrilled to see Nia’s video be ready to debut. However, not all of the ALDC is standing behind her with their support. Abby seemingly isn’t all that supportive, and neither are the moms. Both Nia and Kendall’s songs are officially available on iTunes now and Dance Moms fans are curious to see how they do.
There is a competition ahead in this episode as well, though it’s not clear whether that will be shown in Part 1 or Part 2 of the Season 5 mid-season finale. As the show’s Wikia page shows, however, the girls have some stiff competition in this outing.
The ALDC once again faces off against the Candy Apples in this last Pittsburgh competition. The ALDC group dance is a lyrical piece called “Dancing in the Rain,” and Dance Moms spoilers indicate that it takes first place in both the junior and overall divisions, with the overall placing battle being an especially tight one. The Candy Apples group dance reportedly takes first in the senior division and second in the overalls.
Nia has a solo in this competition, but Dance Moms spoilers indicate that she doesn’t place. JoJo’s solo is said to take third in the junior division. Not only are the Candy Apples in this competition, but some familiar faces with JC’s Broadway Dance Academy are in the mix as well. Ava Cota is said to do a solo that takes first in the senior and overall divisions.
Part 2 of the Season 5 mid-season finale airs on May 5, with a reunion show and Australia specials to air in the upcoming weeks. Fans will be very curious to see what comes after that, given the changes and drama that has played out already this season. Filming is reportedly continuing for the remainder of the season and fans can’t wait to see what comes next.
