25 Years After, Baby Found In Dumpster Reunited With Father

Found as a baby in a dumpster in a Santa Ana alley in 1989, the baby named “Baby Adam” by police officer Michael Buelna, has been reunited with his family, CBS News Channel 5 from Fort Smith, Arkansas has reported. After hearing a noise coming the dumpster, Buelna moved some of the trash and found the baby in the dumpster.

“This week, 25 years later, the two reunited for the first time, the officer and the now young man now named Robin Barton, and they spoke with CBS Los Angeles. “Nice. Wonderful to finally have met you, to see the man who found me first,” Barton said,” CBS News reported.

Officer Buelna spent 20 years looking for his own mother and vowed to help Barton find his family also. Barton said he would tell his mother, upon finding her, that’s he not angry or upset, and that he does forgive her.

“Police did find and arrest Barton’s birth mother, who spent several years in prison before being deported. He does have one clue in his search: Her name was Sabrina Fabiola Diaz, and she would be 45 now, CBS News reports, “Barton and Buelna’s meeting also led to another reunion. CBS Los Angeles reports Barton’s biological father, Marcos Meza, heard about the two meeting for the first time, and stepped forward.”

“And I moved some of the trash, and I saw the little baby,” Buelna said. “And I was kind of shocked at first because it’s kind of hard to grasp what I was seeing,” CBS News reported, “Buelna picked up the baby, breathed into its little lungs and ran to a nearby paramedic for help, who had a question. “You just had a baby; what are you doing to name him?””

Man left in dumpster as baby reunites with police officer who found him, is the headline reported by Fox News from Boston. Officer Buelna, who found Barton in the dumpster as a baby, hoped he would some day be reunited with him.

“The two first met 25 years ago, though Barton was just four hours old, in what some would call a miracle encounter. It was Nov. 21, 1989. Buelna was on duty in Santa Ana,” Fox News reported.

The reunion between Buelna and Robin Barton, the baby found in the dumpster, was reported by the Inquisitr two days ago.

“According to ABC 7, the police officer was responding to a stabbing call when heard something in the trash near a dumpster,” the Inquisitr reported, “He described it as a “very low meow, like a cat or something.”

“He moved some of the trash and found the baby. “I noticed the umbilical cord and he was covered, he still had all the mucus and stuff and all the trash and gravel was sticking to him. I tried to give him a tiny little bit of breath and he reacted a little bit,” the Inquisitr reported.
