iPhone App Developer Ngmoco Grabs $10 Million in Funding



ngmocoNgmoco, an iPhone app developer, has secured $10 million in fresh funding. The Series B round was announced Monday morning.

Ngmoco focuses on iPhone games. The company has created such titles as Rolando, MazeFinger, Topple, and Word Fu. It claims five products with iPhone’s “top 10″ badge and more than 7 million downloads across its catalog.

Ngmoco’s new funding was led by Norwest Venture Partners.

Ngmoco is based in San Francisco. It’s been around since 2008. The odd name actually stands for “Next GenerationMobile Company.”
