‘The Voice’: CeeLo Green, Gwen Stefani, And Usher Reunite, But Where’s Shakira?

The Voice top eight contestants will have double the coach power behind them on tonight’s episode. Former coaches CeeLo Green, Gwen Stefani, and Usher will be joining the show for a first-time-ever reunion.

The trio will advise the remaining artists, offering their expertise both as musicians and past coaches. This will be the first time they will all appear on the show at the same time, since they each served as coach on different seasons, as pointed out by E! Online.

The excitement surrounding the reunion has left some viewers asking why Shakira will be missing. Carson Daly explained on last week’s show that she is in Spain busy with her growing family, and will be unable to make an appearance. He said she will be missed and many fans feel the same.

The Colombian “Hips Don’t Lie” singer gave birth to her second son with boyfriend Gerard Piqué in late January. The lovely couple was seen Sunday with first son, Milan, at the Barcelona Open. They were caught sneaking a smooch while their 2-year-old son adorably puckered-up for his turn.

The week before, the 38-year-old mom brought both boys along to support their dad, who plays soccer for Barcelona, during his game against Valencia. The little ones wore matching soccer jerseys and were seen in their dad’s arms prior to the game.

The proud mom recently tweeted a picture of their newest addition with the caption, “Sasha out for a stroll,” in both English and Spanish.

Sasha appears to be his father’s mini-me, based on another tweet by Shakira on March 19, which was Father’s Day in Spain. She posted a picture of him next to a picture of Gerard when he was a baby. They look like the same baby. The caption read, “Like father like son,” again in English and Spanish.

According to Page Six, the couple may have (several) more children in their future. Shakira told Latina magazine, “I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard — my own futbol team.”

Her new baby boy isn’t the only prize she’s showing off lately. Last Tuesday, the talented beauty beamed for a picture while lounging with her three Guinness World Records, which she had just had framed. Daily Mail reports that one of the awards is for being the first person in the world to garner 100 million likes on Facebook. Another is for her 2005 album, Fijación Oral, which became the best-selling Spanish album in the U.S. in just one week. The third Guinness World Record is for her hit single, “La Tortura,” which is the best-selling Spanish single of all time.

While she will be missed during the big Voice reunion, you can see her life is full, and she is busy catering to her biggest fans at home — her loving family.

Watch The Voice tonight on NBC at 7 p.m. CT/8 p.m. ET to see what advice the former judges (minus Shakira) have to offer the remaining hopefuls. Which judge do you most look forward to seeing back?
