Kim Kardashian: Bruce Jenner Transgender Journey Acceptance Helped By Kanye West – Interview Drew 16.9 Million Viewers

Kim Kardashian is taking pride in Bruce Jenner’s interview with Diane Sawyer. It attracted millions of viewers, whose reactions ranged from inspiration to shock at bombshells ranging from the secret life that the Olympic champion led for years to his Republican affiliation. And Kim K expressed pride in Bruce’s journey, reported the New York Daily News.

The 34-year-old wife of Kanye West was honest in talking with Matt Lauer.

“I think there is still an adjustment and there’s, you know, family therapy,” Kardashian stated.

And she’s angry about the tabloid talk.

“I see reports that say, you know, ‘This one doesn’t support him,’ and, ‘This one’s over here,’ and my mom feels this way. And it’s all really so made up. We all really support him. Is it a hard adjustment? Yes.”

As the Inquisitr reported, both Kardashian and Jenner family members used social media to share their support for Bruce during and after the interview.

“Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter,” posted Kim.

And it was Kanye who helped her accept Bruce’s desire to transition from man to woman, reported Time.

Bruce recognized the role that West played in guiding Kim to that acceptance.

“The female part of me is who I am. I identify as female, and that’s very hard for Bruce Jenner to say, because I don’t want to disappoint people,” explained Bruce.

Jenner emphasized his appreciation for how Kanye helped his stepdaughter to accept the female identification revelation.

“Kim told me a story. She goes, ‘You know what really turned me around on thinking about this?’ I said, ‘What?’ She goes, ‘Kanye.’ I went, ‘Oh, okay.’ He says to Kim, ‘Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful little daughter in the world, and I have that. But I’m nothing if I can’t be me. If I can’t be true to myself, they don’t mean anything.'”

Since Kim told that story, Jenner revealed that she’s been the best resource in terms of ease.

“Since then, Kimberly has been, by far, the most accepting, and the easiest to talk to about it,” said Bruce.

But Jenner’s trepidation about whether anyone would really listen to that interview with Diane Sawyer also eased over the numbers of viewers, reported the Daily Mail.

Nielsen reported that 16.9 million viewers sat transfixed watching Bruce tell the truth about the secrets hidden for decades.
