Cricket fans can watch live online as Kings XI Punjab host Sunrisers Hyderabad at Mohali’s Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, in a battle of two struggling sides that each needs a win to have any hope of putting together a respectable season.

The two sides enter Monday’s 27th match of the Indian Premier League 2015 season with identical 2-4 records. But Sunrisers have a better — though not very good — net run rate of -0.264 to the -1.112 of Kings XI.
Both sides also enter the match coming off crushing defeats. Both teams played on Saturday, with Hyderabad falling to another faltering side, Mumbai Indians, by 20 runs. Punjab, in the day’s later match, were slaughtered by the powerhouse Chennai Super Kings — who recorded a 97 run win.
Sunrisers feature an international fast bowling attack led by South African Dale Steyn and New Zealand’s Trent Boult, but neither paceman has yet bowled up to expectations.
Without dominant bowling, Sunrisers’ lack of depth on the batting side is cruelly exposed. When opening partners David Warner, the team captain, and Shikhar Dhawan go out early as they did against Mumbai, the team finds great difficulty scoring runs.
Bowling has been an issue for Kings XI as well, with Australian World Cup star Mitchell Johnson also failing to deliver so far this season.
Punjab has yet to receive much contribution from all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, either. In fact, in the match against Chennai Super Kings, Kings XI Skipper George Bailey dropped his Australia World Cup teammate from the team.
