YouTube Fitness Star ‘Blogilates’ Photoshops A Bigger Butt, Breasts To Deal With Haters [Video]

There’s a video called “The ‘Perfect’ Body” that has seriously gone viral, gaining more than 4 million views since the day it was uploaded on April 16. In the below video, Cassey Ho — better known as Blogilates online — shows off her fit body in exercise gear, as the 28-year-old pretends to take a selfie, feeling good about herself. All of a sudden, the YouTube star is inundated with negative comments that criticize her abs and more.

The lesson shown in the video — after Cassey digitally chooses to give herself a bigger butt, larger breasts and a slimmer waistline — is to decide how much others should allow cyberbullies to control their lives. The newest video from the workout video expert is currently the fifth most popular on her channel — with the one week old video beating out others on her YouTube channel that have been there for two or three years. And it’s with good reason, as Cassey describes in her video’s description about the battle against fat shaming and internet bullying.

“When you look in the mirror, are you happy with what you see? Or do you stare at yourself, pinching your fat away, lifting up your butt, pushing in your boobs, wishing you looked like a VS supermodel? It’s hard to be content with the shape of your body when people are constantly telling you how fat you are. The backhanded compliments, the mean comments, the cyber bullying – all of this messes with us…and it hurts. What if getting flat abs and bigger boobs was as easy as a click. What if you could stop all the hate and just photoshop yourself right now, in real life? What would you change?

The fact that the YouTube guru digitally altered her body and the haters still weren’t happy with her body, as reported by the New York Daily News, proves that the video was an awesome lesson on living your fitness life for yourself, and not for the approval of others. Ho has been uploading fitness training videos and classes for her audience — which has soared to more than 2 million people — online for six years, so she’s seen her share of negative comments.

As seen in the now viral video, Cassey is relatively thin and fit, so the fact that some of her critics still call her fat shows the level of cyber shaming that can happen, even with a healthy-looking fitness expert, reports the Daily Mail.

Some of her fans were surprised that Ho — who teaches mainly bootcamp exercises and Pilates — would be affected at all by negative comments, considering all of her accomplishments and popularity. But obviously, Blogilates has struck a positive chord with those who love her message about not criticizing others harshly.
