WWE News: Backstage Update On Ronda Rousey In WWE, Full Analysis On A Potential Match With Charlotte

A UFC fighter was a part of one of the greatest WrestleMania segments of all-time. The WWE got Ronda Rousey to participate at the “Grandest Stage of them All” alongside the Rock, Triple H, and Stephanie McMahon. The segment included Rousey connecting on a judo toss to Triple H, and the rest was history. However, the WWE didn’t want it to turn into a “one and done” thing.

It’s been rumored since WrestleMania that the WWE wants Ronda Rousey to do more than just that appearance at WrestleMania. They want her to wrestle a match at next year’s WrestleMania, possibly with Stephanie McMahon. Last week, everything looked great and in order for Rousey to be with WWE next year.

However, it’s looking like Dana White, the UFC President, isn’t too keen on Ronda Rousey in the WWE. In an earlier report by the Inquisitr, Dana White said Rousey’s WWE career was a “one and done” scenario. According to All Wrestling News, Ronda Rousey wants to work a WWE match, but Dana White is saying no. The WWE Creative team did not expect that news.

“F4Wonline.com notes that members of WWE creative were ‘stunned’ to hear those comments from Dana as they’ve been hoping to book Rousey vs. Stephanie McMahon in a singles match.”

It’s truly a shame that White feels this way, but perhaps he will change his mind by next year. The amount of money and exposure the UFC would benefit from that is insane. Just by having Ronda Rousey on WrestleMania last month, the UFC gained a big following from the WWE fans. Remember, they aren’t competition.

The amount of possibilities for Rousey in the WWE remains endless. Ric Flair, the legendary 16-time WWE champion, talked about his daughter Charlotte, former-NXT Women’s champion, possibly taking on Rousey inside the octagon.

“In all fairness, if she had a year to train, I’m not saying Ashley would win by any means, but if she had a year to get ready for it, it wouldn’t end in round 1,” Flair said.

Of course, Charlotte doesn’t have the training Rousey does, and if the current UFC Women’s Bantamweight champion taps out the best in her division within 20 seconds, Charlotte would have no chance.

Of course, if Rousey were to wrestle Charlotte in a WWE match, the fans would explode. Every WWE fan from around the world would tune in to watch that match. In addition to being a great actor, she’s already over with the fans. What’s more, so is Charlotte. Hopefully, Dana White changes his mind and lets Ronda Rousey inside the WWE. It may happen down the road either way.
