David Beckham Ready For His £250K Birthday Bash, Surrounded By Fam On His 40th

David Beckham hits the milestone today, and the retired professional soccer star is not sparing any expense for his birthday bash set to take place Saturday. Ensuring to ring in his 40’s in style, Beckham has “has hired a stunning six-star resort, not far outside Marrakech, Morocco,” as Bang relays.

The Arabian celebration will include ninety guests including David’s wife Victoria, James Corden, Eva Longoria, Elizabeth Hurley, and Snoop Dogg, However the power couple’s four children, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and Harper, 3, are said to not be attending the “adult-only birthday bash.”

Traditional Moroccan dishes will be served at the pricey event, which has reportedly set Beckham and Victoria back £250,000, including cooked lamb and of course, party attendees will be entertained by belly dancers.

A source shared just how prestigious the resort at which Beckham’s bash is being held with the Sun Newspaper.

”The Arabian banquet is reserved for the most special guests and they have only ever been held before for the Moroccan King or U.S. President Bill Clinton. The whole resort is being cleared for them and staff are excited as we’ve never had so many famous people stay at one time.”

The organizers of the elite celebration are going all out on decor, yet are ensuring to keep the taste to the liking of the star footballer. Bang recounts the words of the source in regards to decor, who states that “‘the golden balls are slightly tongue-in-cheek to pay homage to one of the world’s greatest footballers. All the stops are being pulled out as they’ve stayed before and we want to make the event as special as we can.”

Beckham’s big day was kicked off in the company of his superstar designer wife Victoria Beckham and the rest of his loved ones who took to Instagram to share the momentous occasion. The family is vacationing in Marrakech, and as the Daily Mail notes, an Instagram shot shared by Victoria shows 40-year-old Beckham “[s]itting beneath a large banner bearing the words ‘Happy Birthday,’ Beckham sports a striking panama hat while sitting at an outdoor table that appears to be set for a birthday breakfast.”

The couple’s first born Brooklyn, who is now 16, also took to Instagram to share a snap of himself and his famous father on David’s big day.
