Modern Warfare 3 Content Collection #1 Hits Xbox Live This Month

Activision confirmed today that Modern Warfare 3‘s ‘Content Collection #1‘ pack, which includes all of the DLC released so far, will see a release on Xbox 360 starting March 20.

If you’ve already picked up a Call of Duty Elite subscription, Modern Warfare 3‘s Content Collection #1 DLC isn’t for you; the pack includes the four multiplayer and survival maps, along with the two Spec Ops missions, that were previously exclusive to Elite members.

If you didn’t pick up a Call of Duty Elite subscription, however, Content Collection #1 has quite a bit to offer. In the pack, you’ll get the Liberation, Piazza, and Overwatch maps, available in both competitive multiplayer and survival.

Additionally, Content Collection #1 will also include the ‘Black Box’ multiplayer map along with two Spec Ops missions, ‘Black Ice’ and ‘Negotiate’, all three of which will be made available to Xbox 360 Call of Duty Elite subscribers on March 13.

As is the case with all Modern Warfare 3 DLC, Content Collection #1 will be a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360. A release of the DLC collection is expected on the PC and PlayStation 3 as well, but Activision has yet to say when that will happen.

If Modern Warfare 3‘s DLC offering in March isn’t enough for you, Activision announced back in January that the wildly popular FPS will be getting nine months worth of content spread throughout the year. Aside from additional map packs and Spec Ops missions, Activision said that extensions to the singleplayer campaign are planned as well.

Are you still playing Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, or have you moved on to something else?
