Jessica Simpson Gets Huge Honor From Donald Faison
Jessica Simpson has been best friends with CaCee Cobb for years; the duo were often seen having adventures together on Simpson’s MTV reality show, Newlyweds: Nick And Jessica, and they’ve stayed close through Jessica’s divorce from singer Nick Lachey. Now, CaCee and her husband, former Scrubs actor Donald Faison, have honored Jess with the title of godmother to their brand new daughter.
Jessica announced to her fans that Wilder Francis Faison had come into the world on Friday via Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of her holding the baby.
“Madly in love with my Goddaughter Wilder Frances Faison!!! I am beyond proud of @caceecobb and @donald_aison,” Simpson wrote.
Meanwhile, Faison’s bestie, Zach Braff, shared a photo of his own on Instagram, which has gotten over 42,000 likes on the social media site.
Little Wilder isn’t the only baby in Jessica’s life; her sister, Ashlee, is expecting any day now with her husband, Evan Ross. Ashlee says she’s feeling good and has been working out to stay in shape while she prepares for the birth of her second child.
“I’m feeling good, I’m feeling great. I’ve been active, which has been really nice. I’ve been [working with trainer] Tracy Anderson,” Ashlee said.
Of course, Jessica has two little ones of her own; 2-year old Maxwell and 20-month old Ace. After she received criticism earlier this year for posting racy photos of herself and her husband in Fifty Shades of Grey-style poses on Instagram, she spoke up and said she’s not afraid to share her love of her husband with the world.
“Marriage is unbelievable, I couldn’t be more in love, and he’s given me two of the best blessings I could possibly imagine. Having a boy and a girl… I’m blessed. they inspire me… I am not shy to be in love with my husband,” Simpson said.
Simpson is so happy being a mom that she can’t keep her kids off her mind, even when she and husband Eric Johnson are on a date together.
“Date night with my hubby looking at pictures of our kiddos. These two are perfect. Crazy individual people we are so proud of,” posted Simpson on Instagram.
