76-Year-Old Mom Kicked Out Of KFC For Breastfeeding 42-Year-Old Son, Hoax Goes Viral
A 76-year-old mom was reportedly asked to leave a KFC restaurant in Mississippi for breastfeeding. Although there have been many reports about the controversial aspects of breastfeeding photos and nursing in public places, this particular incident is quite different from any other report. This mom wasn’t exactly breastfeeding an infant. While she may always view him as her baby, the public considers him an adult — a 42-year-old man. The outrageous story is so bizarre that many readers have found it quite difficult to fathom. That’s because it’s only a hoax, reports Snopes.
The unbelievable story was originally published by NewsWatch-28. A fictitious woman named Linda Berrety and her son, Michael, were asked to leave after management received an overwhelming number of complaints about their activities in the dining area of the restaurant. Apparently, Linda was breastfeeding Michael while they dined, and, of course, restaurant patrons weren’t too pleased.

During a recent news interview, one witness named Ali Belfouz shared his reaction to the seemingly awkward incident. Although the witness has no problem with breastfeeding in general, this incident was described a bit differently.
“What in God’s name was that? I have nothing against breastfeeding, but that was pure nonsense. I felt like if I was watching some fetish type of porno. You have to be insane to breastfeed your child at that age. They should of got arrested for gross indecency rather then getting expelled.”
However, Linda feels otherwise. As a matter of fact, she is outraged. She finds the restaurant’s request insulting and has no plan to stop breastfeeding her son anytime soon. She also feels those who find it repulsive are the ones with the problem.
“It’s my right as a mother to breastfeed my child,” the 76-year-old mom said. “If people don’t agree with the way I raise my son, that’s their problem. I have raised a great man, beautiful, tall, who still lives and stays with me. I think I’ve done a great job as a mother and don’t appreciate getting insulted and expelled just because I decided to breastfeed my child a little longer than other mothers.”
Surprisingly, the breastfeeding hoax has sparked quite a debate on Reddit. Of course, some find it repulsive, others actually argue that there are no age limitations where breastfeeding is concerned, regardless of what’s considered socially appropriate. Although he’s a grown man, he is still her son and there are no laws that prohibit their actions.
