Rob Gronkowski Reportedly Dating Camille Kostek, Former Patriots Cheerleader-Turned-TV-Reporter

Rob Gronkowski is off the market, with reports that the star NFL player is dating someone with a very close connection to the New England Patriots.

The All-Pro tight end has been linked to Camille Kostek, who was on the team’s cheerleading squad in 2013 and 2014.

Sources close to Gronkowski confirmed the relationship to TMZ Sports, though Gronk himself hasn’t said anything about his new girlfriend yet. The pair have been spotted out a number of times, and apparently aren’t trying to hide their relationship.

The new love interest comes after a long offseason of partying and celebrating for Rob Gronkowski. But the New England Patriots player is apparently done celebrating his first Super Bowl title, and is getting a bit serious with Camillle Kostek.

It’s not clear how long Kostek and Rob Gronkowski have been dating. Back in February, the tight end was seen hitting on a Florida reporter who asked about his plans for Valentine’s Day. That would suggest that he and Kostek were not yet an item — or that Kostek has an open mind about the relationship.

Gronkowski had dropped hints that Kostek might be his type. In an interview on the Jim Rome Show last month, he described his ideal woman and listed a lot of Kostek’s characteristic.

“She cleans, cooks, makes big cash, stays home, [and] lets me do whatever I want,” Gronkowski said.

While it’s not clear whether Kostek lets Gronk do “whatever I want,” she clearly has some big ambitions. Last month, Kostek announced on her Instagram page that she was leaving the cheerleading squad in order to follow her dreams of becoming a television reporter.

“I want to wish all of my teammates and the new young women going out for the squad the best of luck as they announce the new team today! By far the best two years of my life cheering on the best in the NFL with the best in the NFL@patriotscheerleaders. One of the toughest decisions I’ve had to make but I’m onto my next journey, chasing a new dream. @gillettestadium you will always be my second home and I couldn’t ask for a better final performance than on the sidelines at the Super Bowl! Once an NEPC, always an NEPC.”

There may have been another reason why Camille Kostek left the New England Patriots cheerleading team. Many teams have rules against players fraternizing with cheerleaders, so dating Rob Gronkowski likely meant quitting the team.
