Duchess Kate’s Due Date: April 25 Is Royal Baby’s Rumored Due Date, But Palace Won’t Confirm

Duchess Kate’s due date is fast approaching, but no one knows exactly when she is set to give birth (of course, she probably doesn’t know either). According to the Telegraph, April 25 seems to be the going consensus, even though the palace hasn’t confirmed nor denied that specific date. The Duchess of Cambridge revealed that she was due mid-to-late April, which is basically any time now, and April 25 sounds like a pretty good guess — somewhere in the middle.

“[This] means the royal baby could share the same birthday as the Queen, who will be 89 on April 21, or it could arrive on the Duke and Duchess’s fourth wedding anniversary, April 29. St George’s Day on April 23 is also a distinct possibility.”

Duchess Kate and her due date are all people can talk about, as thousands all over the world wait to hear the happy news — and to see that baby. It is quite an exciting time for many, who simply love the royal family and everything that has to do with them. Plus, who doesn’t love to hear about a new baby?

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, there are rumors floating around that Kate will be induced at some point over the next couple of days. Prince William has taken an “early paternity leave,” which suggests that royal baby No. 2 will be making an appearance very soon.

Ahead of her due date, Duchess Kate Middleton had been spending some time in Bucklebury with her mom and dad. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Carole Middleton has been instrumental in keeping Kate comfortable, and entertaining Prince George while his mum got some rest. Sources say that Kate arrived back at Kensington Palace recently, where she is waiting for her contractions to pick up the pace. She and Prince William will then head to St. Mary’s Hospital.

And while the royal family is waiting just as the rest of the world, people keep speculating about the baby’s gender, and about his or her potential name.

“Alice is actually the leading choice if the baby is a girl. Other names that have been mentioned include Elizabeth, Diana, and Charlotte. Those who believe the royal baby will be a boy seem to favor the name Henry, but James, Philip, and Arthur are also in the running. Chances are the child will have a combination of these names, which is traditional. Prince William’s full name is William Arthur Philip Louis. Prince George’s full name is George Alexander Louis.”
