Bethenny Frankel’s Brunch Called Out By Luann De Lesseps: ‘Tacky Much?’

Bethenny Frankel may have wanted to make a great impression upon her return to The Real Housewives of New York because she decided to invite all of the wives to her home for a brunch. Only some of the ladies showed up, but the ones who did got some free Skinnygirl merchandise. The ladies were able to grab anything from nutrition bars to blenders.

It is no secret that Bethenny Frankel has found tremendous success with her Skinnygirl business, so it makes sense that she has her own products in her home. But this isn’t the first time that Frankel has given products away to her co-stars. During her trip to Scary Island in season 3, Bethenny also gave her products away. And it sounds like some of her co-stars find it funny.

According to a new Bravo report, Bethenny Frankel tried to put her best foot forward with her brunch, and she even offered her co-stars some merchandise from her wildly successful Skinnygirl business.

“You know, I figured having two invitations to two brunches isn’t that bad of a problem, so if we went to both, we’d make everyone happy. I really like Bethenny’s Hamptons house, and I love the red accents! Her brunch was a classic breakfast with, of course, great cocktails,” Luann reveals about Frankel’s brunch.

But like many of the Real Housewives of New York co-stars, she also had an opinion about Bethenny Frankel’s brunch, as it was packed with her Skinnygirl products. Of course, some of the ladies were thrilled to get some free merchandise, but Luann thought the idea of them taking something from Frankel’s home was tacky.

“B was great to entertain me and my guests with all of her SkinnyGirl flair. I thought it was really nice of Bethenny to give us some parting gifts. I took some energy bars but kept it simple and didn’t grab her appliances. Tacky much? To each her own… (Bethenny was sweet enough to send me a blender weeks later, though. Noel may even steal it when he moves away for college this summer. So thanks, B! XO!),” she adds about her co-star.

This isn’t the first time that Luann and Frankel have dissed one another. Bethenny called De Lesseps out for bringing Kelly Bensimon to her event at Beautique, knowing that they didn’t have the best past. In addition, Heather Thomson has also mocked Bethenny Frankel’s decision to make the brunch about the products, according to the Inquisitr.
