Wiz Khalifa Explains Meaning Behind ‘Furious 7’ Single, But Not For Amber Rose

Wiz Khalifa continues to dominate the media with a record-breaking single that is crowding out the competition. Although the prospects of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose reuniting has been a hot topic as of late, the only one really talking about that now is Amber Rose.

Wiz Khalifa is topping the charts, with some claiming he has the “fastest selling song” of all time. Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again,” which was used for the Furious 7 soundtrack, is dragging him into the spotlight with one interview after another — but he is giving few messages regarding how he feels about Amber Rose.

On the other hand, Amber Rose has revealed to the Mirror on April 22 that she still has sincere feelings for Wiz Khalifa. Obviously, Amber Rose is not being shy about her feelings for Wiz Khalifa, but is there more than meets the eye? For now, no real evidence has emerged that Wiz Khalifa sees Amber Rose anything but a friend and the mother of his child.

In the meantime, Wiz Khalifa’s song, a tribute to Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, is making records for being one of the “fastest-selling” singles of 2015. After the Wiz Khalifa single started rising in the charts, Paul Walker’s daughter opened up to the Daily Mail about her father.

About Wiz Khalifa, the Daily Mail states, “The teen’s tribute image comes as it was revealed that Wiz Khalifa’s musical tribute to the tragic actor has become the fastest selling single of the year after hitting No.1 in the U.K. charts.”

According to an exclusive interview with Wiz Khalifa by BET, Wiz is especially associated with the most emotional tribute scene dedicated to Paul Walker in Furious 7. They state the following [spoiler alert].

“The latest in the Fast and Furious franchise features an emotional tribute to Paul Walker, who died before the film was completed. During the final scene in the movie, Walker’s character Brian O’ Conner is driving off into the sunset while Wiz Khalifa’s ‘See You Again’ (featuring vocals by Charlie Puth) plays in the background.”

About having 90 million YouTube views for “”See You Again,” Wiz Khalifa said to BET, “The fact that it connects with so many people, that’s what is really, really important for me so I’m f**king with it.”

About writing the song, Wiz Khalifa says Charlie Puth had initially written lyrics about a childhood friend of Puth’s who died in a car wreck. Wiz Khalifa then took over the song and intended for it to portray a certain message. Wiz Khalifa states the following about working on “See You Again.”

“My whole objective [when writing ‘See You Again’] was to make something that everybody can connect with. It feels personal, but it’s something that everybody can feel too. It’s not so personal that you’re disconnected to it. Basically, that was my mind frame for it. Think about family in general. Not necessarily my family or someone else’s family that everybody goes through in that situation.”
