MTV Split: Leah Messer-Calvert Takes To Twitter, Shares Message About Hurting Females

The MTV split between Teen Mom 2 couple Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert is currently playing out on Twitter. In addition to their many subtweets, Messer recently shared a message, which hinted she had been hurt.

On April 21, Messer re-tweeted a message from Buckwild star Shae Bradley, which read, “Fellas pay close attention to how you hurt females so you know how to comfort your daughter later.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, both Messer and Calvert recently confirmed, although indirectly, that their marriage was over on Twitter. In addition to Messer removing her husband’s tag from her bio, Calvert removed Messer’s photo from his background. While Messer’s bio used to say she was “married to @Calvert505,” it now has no mention of Calvert at all. Instead, the reality star notes herself as a mother to her three daughters, Ali, Aleeah and Adalynn.

The MTV split between Messer and Calvert appears to be moving forward, full steam, and if it does, it wouldn’t be the first MTV split for Messer. As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, Messer and her first husband, Corey Simms, ended their marriage during filming on the series years ago.

For the past several months, there have been many reports regarding the MTV split, as well as claims of Messer’s upcoming rehab stint. According to an In Touch Weekly source, Messer recently admitted to struggles with addiction, and would soon go to rehab, which would possibly be paid for by MTV.

If Messer does go to rehab, the custody of her three children would be at stake, and her MTV split would likely be put on the back burner, at least for the time being.

On April 20, Dawn Spears to Facebook, where she ignored reports of the MTV split, but spoke out against the rumors regarding her daughter’s alleged stay in rehab.

“TRUE FANS listen up. Leah is NOT going to rehab lol. This is Momma Dawn and I 100% ASSURE you that Leah is NOT going to a DRUG REHAB. Lots of LOVE to the true fans. all will come out on the upcoming show about Leah Dawn Calvert, Jeremy, Corey,Miranda, and the babies. But rest assure I HATE drugs don’t want association with them and wouldn’t NEVER Condone them. Love ALL have a good night Momma Dawn.”

For more of this MTV split, tune into Teen Mom 2‘s upcoming sixth season. The new series begins on July 9 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
