Erin Andrews’ Beau Jarret Stoll Arrested: New Details Emerge Regarding Stoll Drug Case
Jarret Stoll, the boyfriend of Dancing With the Stars host Erin Andrews, was arrested recently as he was entering a pool party in Las Vegas. Now new details regarding Stoll’s arrest are emerging, though neither Stoll or Andrews have commented on the incident themselves.
TMZ shares that Andrews’ boyfriend Stoll was heading into a pool party at the MGM Grand’s Wet Republic on Friday, April 17 when the incident occurred. The site says that despite a sign noting that all attendees would be patted down by security, Jarret allegedly had some drugs hidden on him.
The site notes that the police report says that during the security check, a security guard found a baggie with white powder in it along with several gel-caps that had an off-white powder in them. The report details that when Stoll was asked if there was cocaine inside the bag he replied that there was.
Police say that Stoll had 8.1 grams of the drug typically called “Molly” along with 3.3 grams of cocaine on him at the time of the security patdown. Jarret was booked for drug possession and released after posting a $5,000 bond. Though the charges could be serious, as was previously reported by the Inquisitr, many expect Stoll to eventually get what will essentially amount to a slap on the wrist in the case.
Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll have been dating since 2012. Live With Kelly and Michael host Michael Strahan played matchmaker for the two, as he is mutual friends with both Erin and Jarret and thought they’d make a great pair. The two have been together ever since, and there has been speculation that the NHL star and DWTS host might be looking at an engagement and wedding soon.
What happens now with Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll given his arrest? As Sporting News shared, Stoll’s attorney David Chesnoff said that he will be commenting more after they fully investigate the allegations. Chesnoff may seem like a familiar name, given that he’s previously worked with Martha Stewart, Mike Tyson and Britney Spears. So far neither Erin or Jarret have referenced the incident or their relationship via social media since his arrest, though they had been out for date night just the night prior to the Vegas arrest.
It seems that Stoll’s future in hockey was already a bit murky, as his position with the Kings was perhaps a bit tenuous. Now given the arrest, other teams may hesitate to pick him up as well. For now fans of Erin Andrews and Jarret Stoll will have to stay tuned as the fallout from his arrest plays out.
