Golfer Annika Sorenstam Pregnant

Retired golfing great Annika Sorenstam is pregnant with her first child.

Sorenstam, who retired from golf in November 2008 after winning 72 victories including 10 majors, wrote on her blog that “We have had a lot of exciting changes in the past new months, and adding a new addition to our family later this fall will certainly be at the top of that list. We are absolutely thrilled and look forward to this new chapter in our lives.”

Sorenstam married husband Mike McGee in Orlando, Florida in January this year, making her one of the few female golf greats who isn’t a lesbian.
