A military dad photobombs his son, and the pic has gone viral. According to ABC News, Joshua, 8, was taking his school picture when his dad showed up, and jumped in the frame. Army Corporal James Bass had been away for months, but wanted to surprise his son. Upon returning from Kuwait, Bass headed to his son’s school in Durham, North Carolina, and what happened next has gone viral.
“When Joshua posed for his school picture, his father snuck up behind him and photobombed the shot. The photographer then showed Joshua the photo, and when he turned around, the boy looked shocked to find his dad standing behind him. The surprised third grader leaped into his father’s arms in the heartfelt moment captured on camera.”
The military dad that photobombed his son’s school pic was so happy to see his son, and was thrilled that he could surprise him when he least expected it. According to ABC 7, it took Joshua a moment to realize what was happening once the photographer showed him the snap. The young boy was told that his dad was behind him, and when he turned around you could just tell that he was stunned. After a few seconds you can hear him yell, “Daddy!”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, this all went down at the Pearsontown Magnet Elementary. It’s unknown how long it was planned or who Bass worked this all out with, but the end result was simply perfect. It is a day that Joshua will not soon forget.
