Angela O'Dell your defense of Palin's defense of Limbaugh puts you in the unenviable conundrum of having to criticize women using sexist language while defending a woman defending a male using sexist language towards women. To be fair, Rush was describing a class of women. He's basically saying a woman is a slut for using contraception if the taxpayer foots the bill. He ridiculously distorts the meaning of "being paid for sex" in order to apply graphic and offensive terms to Fluke and her ilk. The difference between Maher and Rush is obvious. Maher made a colorful joke about a personality and moved on. Rush spent three days of his program with over 70 reference to sex addicted women, having constant sex, all the time sex, so much sex they can't afford it. Maher has disdain for one woman in this case, Bristal. Rush on the other hand is calling a lot of women out there "sluts" and then admitting s to calling them this based on a very stretched definition of "for pay sex." When you listen to Maher you don't immediately think "wow this guy has a problem with women". Listen to Rush on the other hand and it's clear enough that for him, a woman using birth control under an insurance program is enough to prove she's a "ho." I can tell you Angela that if I went around espousing this point of view to the women in my life I'd be in big trouble. And, may I ask, where is Rush's animosity towards the men who have all this endless sex with women. The women, after all, are benefiting the men through their use of contraceptives by protecting the male form two decades of child support payments. Aren't they "sluts" too…oh wait….they would be "deadbeat sluts" or "deadbeat male prostitutes" since they don't even put down on the co-pay. In other words even in Rush's universe when the slutty girl buys government subsidized contraceptives and takes them, she's taking them both for herself and the slutty prostitute guy she's sleeping with. Rush's misogyny is apparent from his total lack of calling out the male ho's too. Women are probably outraged by this than they are on an attack on one woman. Rush finds himself in the unenviable position of having to argue that Bristol Palin is not a slut only because she failed to use subsidized contraceptives. With Rush it's not so much whether or not you spread your legs as it is who pays at the pharmacy. Brilliant! Rush betrays his total disdain and disgust for women by describing them as sluts based solely on the criteria of whether they use government subsidized birth control. Moreover, listen to the voices of the two men. It is clear that Maher, right or wrong, is directing his humorous barbs at one person, over the unique circumstance of that person. Rush, on the other hand, spews venomous disgust at women based whether or not they take contraceptives paid for by insurance or government subsidy Moreover, it is not clear as to whether Rush would apply this epithet to a woman who paid for her own birth control but continued to have constant sex. To many many many women that is not far or distinguishable from just plain venomous disgust towards women. In other words you may be able to show that Bill Maher shows disgusts to isolated women, but Rush Limbaugh shows disgusts to all women who dare to mimic the sexual promiscuity of most men, especially when he fails to take note of the men who are having sex with all these nympho co-eds.

diane – Flake said that it cost 3000 bucks a year for her and her friends to get contracetption. Rubbers cost about a buck – you figure it out. Limbaugh is not perfect, but he is right about 95% of the time. He is a patriot and a hero. Third year law student Flake should get a job, although she prob is not capable of doing real work.
