Andi Dorfman Enjoys Living In NYC, Being Single After Josh Murray Split

Andi Dorfman is living the life of a single woman — and she is loving it. The reality star moved to New York City following her split from Josh Murray, and she says that she is “embracing” her new life there. Us Weekly caught up with the 28-year-old at the Adrianna Papell DRESSBAR launch in Manhattan, and she opened up about life post-fame, post reality TV, and post-Josh.

“I’m obsessed. I kind of feel like I look like the biggest tourist here because I take pictures everywhere I am, and I actually live here which is the crazy part. I have to literally pinch myself every day, like, ‘Oh my God, I’m in New York. I live in New York.’ It’s awesome, just like the energy. Everything is very clear to me here. I just belong with the energy. I think it’s crazy to think that a year ago, where I was, and now, here I am living in New York City. Never would I have thought I would be doing this. But I’m definitely embracing it.”

Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray broke off their engagement three months ago after meeting and falling in love on ABC’s The Bachelorette. According to People Magazine, Andi says that she’s open to meeting someone new, and that her friends are always trying to set her up, something that she says she would totally be up for. She hasn’t given up on finding that happily ever after that everyone talks about.

“Oh, I’m ready. I think I’m ready. I don’t think anyone should be alone for the rest of their lives. There comes a time where you know you have to move on with your life and have a happy life, and I think I’m ready.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Josh recently opened up about his failed engagement, and admitted that he and Andi are just “very different people.” He said that the two don’t have time to talk to each other because of their super busy schedules. Josh also said that he has left the Bachelor/ette life behind, and that he’s not really looking into doing more reality television of that nature (no, he won’t be on Bachelor In Paradise).

He is, however, still looking for Mrs. Right. When asked what he was looking for in a woman, Josh said that he wants someone who is “family-oriented,” and that he’d like to be with someone “who likes to chill.”
