‘Real Housewives’ Kim Richards Surfaces After Arrest

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday, just hours after her arrest. According to a series of photos shared by Radar Online on April 17, Richards is not in hiding after her shocking arrest for charges of public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer, and battery on a police officer.

In the photos, the Real Housewives star was seen wearing a pair of Ugg boots, black leggings, a gray hat, and a Chanel purse. In her hand, Richards carried what appeared to be a cup of ice water, along with her keys and iPhone 6. Although the Real Housewives star wasn’t exactly smiling for the cameras, she certainly wasn’t hiding as she made her way to her vehicle in Los Angeles.

Hours before the photos were taken, Richards was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge after becoming an “unruly” disturbance to those around her. As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives star had been drinking “vodka tonics” all night before being cut off by the Polo Lounge bartender, which immediately set her off into what has been referred to as a “drunken rampage.”

“Kim had been drinking vodka tonics all night,” a source told Radar Online.

Once the Real Housewives star was cut off by the bartender, things reportedly took a turn for the worse, and police were eventually called for backup.

“At some point after midnight, the bartender decided that Kim had enough to drink, and refused to serve her. She became very, very angry, and loudly said, ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ She eventually locked herself in a bathroom and was refusing to come out and causing a scene. Cops had to be called at that point.”

Once the Real Housewives star was taken into custody, she reportedly kicked an officer, which led to the battery charge mentioned.

For years, Richards has struggled with addiction, and during the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she admitted to taking prescription medication, which she had not been prescribed. Although she maintained she was sober throughout the season, many fans and some of her co-stars had their doubts, and now, it appears their concerns were for good reason.

Richards is due back in court on May 10 to address the charges against her.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 comes to an end on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on Bravo, with the series’ lost footage episode.
