Miley Cyrus “Forget Jesus” Tweet Outrages America

Pop Star Miley Cyrus has sparked outrage among Christian fans according to a report from AOL news. Cyrus is in the center of the firestorm for a tweet she released where she uses the phrase “Forget Jesus”

The pop singer tweeted a photo of theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss,. All she wrote in the tweet was beautiful and included one of his more famous quotes where he said,

“You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements (carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, all things that matter for evolution) weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in stars. So forget Jesus. Stars died so you can live.”

Cyrus’ Christian fans almost immediately started complaining and going after the singer for the tweet which all they saw was saying “Forget Jesus”.

One Angry Christian wrote,

“So you are no longer a Christian? Forget Jesus??? Seriously? What has happened to you out there in the famous world? What????,”

Another fan was not as nice about it simply telling Cyrus to “Go to hell.”

Cyrus, who has come under fire in recent years for her increasingly risqué choices and possible references to drug use, said Tuesday that she had “bad dreams all night.”. Cyrus has recently been held in contempt by a Christian group for being a bad role model, she has been photographed in some suggestive poses with a cake shaped like a penis and she was photographed with a bong which she claimed was filled with Salvia.

She then retook to Twitter and expressed herself on the subject,

“How can people take the love out of science and bring hate into religion so easily. It makes me sad to think the world is this way. Like Einstein says “Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.”
