‘Teen Mom OG’ Maci Bookout ‘Definitely’ Wants To Marry Taylor McKinney: Wedding Coming Soon?
Could a Teen Mom OG wedding be coming soon? According to a new MTV clip, Maci Bookout “definitely” wants to marry her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney. However, when it comes to when they’ll walk down the aisle, the Teen Mom OG star doesn’t want to rush anything.
During a taping of the Teen Mom OG: After Show, via an April 16 report by Wetpaint Entertainment, Bookout revealed her plans to marry McKinney.
“We definitely want to marry each other. I definitely want to marry Taylor. But at the same time, to me marriage is about wanting to get married because you want to marry that person, not because you’re pregnant and you wanna rush into it.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Teen Mom OG couple announced they were expecting their first child together in December of last year (Bookout is also mommy to 6-year-old Bentley).
“I started having very strange symptoms, like my legs were very itchy and I had tenderness in my breasts. So we got a test and it said I was pregnant,” Bookout told In Touch Weekly.
After welcoming her first son, Bentley, with ex-boyfriend Ryan Edwards, Bookout was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, which makes it extremely difficult to conceive.
“I didn’t think that another pregnancy was possible. We still can’t believe it. It was a huge shock, but we are very excited.”
During the latest episode of Teen Mom OG, Bookout announced her pregnancy to her producers with McKinney, who moved in with her just before filming on Teen Mom OG began, at her side.
Continuing on in her Teen Mom OG: After Show interview, Bookout explained of her pregnancy, “I just want this experience to be on its own. I know we’ll get married.”
Bookout also spoke of her wedding plans with Bookout at the end of last year, just after revealing she was pregnant.
“Before I got pregnant, we talked heavily about marriage— and we still do, but I don’t want to be a pregnant bride. That would be way too stressful!” she revealed to In Touch, via Hollywood Life. “Plus, I want to be able to have fun at my wedding.”
“I just hope people don’t judge. We are a little bit scared people might not be as supportive as we want them to be [because we’re not married], but I hope they are.”
