Jeff Simms Updates Fans On Ali, As Leah Messer’s Husband Remains In Ohio After Divorce Report

Jeff Simms took to Twitter on April 15, where he shared an exciting update about his granddaughter, 5-year-old Ali Simms.

“To those of you praying for Ali: please keep it up, she is doing so good! Great report from her physical therapist.”

Jeff Simms is the father of Corey Simms, who was previously married to Leah Messer. During their brief relationship, Corey and Messer welcomed Ali and her twin sister, Aleeah, before tying the knot and ultimately divorcing just six months later.

As fans saw on the show, Messer’s marriage to Jeff Simms’ son ended in 2010, after she admitted to cheating on him just hours before they tied the knot in December 2009. The moment was understandably emotional and made for a major on-screen moment when it aired on Teen Mom 2.

Once Corey was divorced, he went on to meet and marry Miranda who Jeff Simms appears to be a big fan of. Since then, Corey and Miranda’s relationship has appeared stable, although Messer has claimed things aren’t what they seem.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Messer put Corey and Miranda’s relationship on blast on Facebook after mistaking a Facebook fan page for one of their accounts. Although Jeff Simms stayed silent in regard to Messer’s diss, he couldn’t have been happy about what she said.

“Things you see on Corey and Mirandas ‘official and APPROVED page’ is far from being true, and all I have to say about it is that they may want to be very WISE about what the post because a marriage that PRETENDS to be PERFECT is NEVER perfect, especially when there is way more not told to a specific spouse, and that’s all I’m going to say.”

In other Teen Mom 2 news, Messer and her own husband Jeremy Calvert, whom she began dating just months after splitting from Jeff Simms’ son, appear to be headed for divorce. Although neither party has confirmed the news as of yet, Calvert has kept his distance from Messer, who has reportedly moved out of his home and in with her mother. In his latest social media update, Calvert confirmed he is currently working in Ohio.

“Amazing sunset #ohio,” Calvert wrote on Twitter on April 15, along with a photo of the sunset.

Jeff Simms returns to MTV in Teen Mom 2 Season 6 later this year. The show’s upcoming installment is currently in production.
