Kendall Jenner On Being A Reality Star, ‘I Didn’t Have A Say’
Kendall Jenner, who appears on the May issue of GQ Magazine, recently opened up about being a reality star to GQ’s Zach Baron.
The 19-year-old aspiring model has been in the spotlight since she was a young child. Even before she became a huge reality star on E!’s Keeping up with the Kardashians, she was attending premieres on the red carpet with her father, Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner.
“My life was always different growing up. I mean, even before the show, my dad was who he is. He’s an Olympic athlete. And we were going to premieres, like Finding Nemo premieres, and we would be little kids, like, before the show, walking down the red carpet.”
Speaking of Bruce, who is allegedly having sexual reassignment surgery, Kendall says she has no idea what the tabloids are talking about, and it is not her place to answer questions about her father’s life choices.
“All that is bulls—. I don’t even know what they’re talking about, so I have no idea.”

While Jenner’s older sisters, Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe, choose to live their lives in the spotlight, Kendall explained that she and her younger sister Kylie didn’t have a choice, according to Entertainment Tonight.
“Me and my little sister were placed in… Like, ‘Okay, there’s gonna be a TV show around.’ We didn’t have a say. And how could we have a say? It was in our home. There was no way we couldn’t be on it.
“Honestly, I can’t answer that question [if she would have opted out]. I have no idea. I was 10 years old when the TV show started. I don’t remember what it was like before.”
Kendall’s mother Kris Jenner recently signed a new four-year contract for Keeping up with the Kardashians. However, the days of having her every move filmed for television will eventually come to an end, and her fans are wondering what she will do when that chapter of her life is over.
“It’s actually really hard for me to think of…but that day will come, and it’ll be fine. Everything that happens is still going to happen, just minus the cameras.”
