Rush Limbaugh Says His Birth Control Comments Were “Leftist”

Leave it to political mouthpiece Rush Limbaugh to make stupid, outlandish and insulting comments and then try to somehow attach the generally more accepting left to his actions.

In a web only apology to Sandra Fluke that has been deemed less than sincere Mr. Limbaugh said:

“I sincerely apologize to Miss Fluke for using those two words to describe her. I do not think that she is either of those two words,” he said. He said that in using those words he had “acted too much like the leftists who despise me. I descended to their level, using names and exaggerations to describe Sandra Fluke. It’s what we’ve come to expect of them, but it’s way beneath me.”

Speaking on The View Sandra Fluke revealed:

“I don’t think that a statement like this issued, saying that his choice of words was not the best, changes anything.”

Fluke also said she didn’t expect or want a personal call from Limbaugh while adding:

“I think his statements that he made on the air about me have been personal enough.”

Limbaugh’s only apologies have come as advertisers continue to jump ship from his show, the most recent being AOL which pulled out over increasing pressure from various angry organizations.

Various women’s rights groups have threatened to boycott products featured via Rush Limbaugh’s programming. In the meantime in case you were curious the left is to be blamed for every stupid, ridiculous comment that Rush Limbaugh hurls at us with his own special brand of hate.

Do you think Rush Limbaugh’s attempt to blame the left for his actions is laughable?
