Rehab Shocker: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer-Calvert ‘Forced Into Rehab & Losing Her Girls’ As Jeremy Files For Divorce [Report]

A rehab shocker has rocked the cast of Teen Mom 2.

According to a new report, Leah Messer is heading for rehab after revealing to husband Jeremy Calvert that she was struggling.

“She’s confessed to Jeremy that she has a problem, and knows she has no other choice than to go to rehab immediately,” a source told In Touch Weekly, according to an April 15 report by Radar Online.

This reported rehab shocker way not come as a complete surprise to fans of Teen Mom 2. As the Inquisitr reported in November, Messer was accused of using drugs, around the time her husband claimed she cheated. At that time, a source also revealed a rehab shocker to In Touch Weekly, alleging Messer’s friends were concerned about her drug use and felt she needed treatment.

Unlike the first round of rumors, this rehab shocker may have a happy ending. While most struggling addicts (not to say Messer is an addict) would be forced to pay for their own stay in rehab, MTV could pay for Messer’s treatment.

“MTV would foot the bill and force Leah into rehab because the network loves her. They last thing they want to see is her going down the same dark path that [co-stars] Amber Portwood and Jenelle Evans did.”

Messer’s rehab shocker isn’t the first for the cast of Teen Mom. Portwood and Evans both spent time in rehab and documented their experiences for the show.

While Messer has yet to confirm any reports of her needing, or entering, treatment, the source claimed the Teen Mom 2 star has been telling friends she’s going to a “therapy intervention” center for three to four weeks to “help herself be a better person.”

According to the magazine, Messer’s rehab shocker has reportedly led her husband to file for divorce, and her ex-husband, Corey Simms, to consider taking her daughters from her.

“He’s going to be seeking primary custody.”

Messer and Simms were involved in a custody battle with one another late last year, but came to an agreement in early December. Now, it appears they will be back in court.

Messer’s rehab shocker made the cover of this week’s issue of In Touch Weekly, which is pictured below.

No word yet on whether or not Messer’s rehab shocker will be included in the upcoming sixth season of Teen Mom 2, which is currently in production.
