‘Teen Mom’ Farrah Abraham Talks MTV Return, Plastic Surgery, & More
Teen Mom Farrah Abraham recently returned to MTV — but not without hesitation. After leaving the show after Season 4, Abraham was not sure if Teen Mom was for her, but after doing some thinking, she rejoined her co-stars.
According to an April 13 report by Perez Hilton, Teen Mom Farrah Abraham spoke of the show, her co-stars, and plastic surgery on the blue carpet of the 2015 MTV Movie Awards.
“This is ‘Teen Mom OG.’ It has different editing. You can see third wall, and we’ve definitely shown more intricacies with the cast. So, it’s not just our own story line — it’s everybody’s integrated together, and I think that’s way special.”
While prior seasons of the show were done in a standard reality television format, Teen Mom Farrah Abraham noted that OG has a much different feel. One of the most noticeable changes, perhaps, is the viewer’s ability to see the MTV staff in addition to the show’s stars.
Speaking of the show’s stars, not everyone was happy to hear that Teen Mom Farrah Abraham would be coming back to the show. Maci Bookout, in particular, has been vocal in regard to her thoughts of Abraham’s return, claiming her lifestyle goes against what she wants her child, 6-year-old Bentley, to be tied to professionally.
Luckily, the rest of the cast, including Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell, appear to be on good terms, and recently walked the red carpet with Teen Mom Farrah Abraham at the awards show.
“We were just taking photos together. We are all doing very well, and I hope to keep our relationship because ‘Teen Mom OG’ and our stories from ’16 & Pregnant’ until now have been very special, and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get to meet each other.”
Teen Mom Farrah Abraham is currently in school in hopes of one day becoming a plastic surgeon. When Perez Hilton asked what had inspired Abraham to take that route, she claimed her own experience had a lot to do with it.
“It helped my confidence grow, and it’s helped me be successful, and it’s helped me be the happiest person I can be.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teen Mom Farrah Abraham nearly kept her love life off the show. Speaking to OK! Magazine last week, Teen Mom Farrah Abraham explained she was unsure of bringing Saran aboard the series because of the added pressure it would put on their relationship.
Teen Mom Farrah Abraham returns to OG on April 20 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
