Tori Spelling Hospitalized: ‘True Tori’ Star Injured, Restaurant Trip Reportedly Leads To Skin Graft

Tori Spelling was hospitalized recently suffering from a somewhat unusual injury. Though the True Tori star is said to be recovering, the Easter Sunday injury definitely sounds as if it was a painful one. What’s the scoop?

According to the Daily Mail, Tori Spelling was hospitalized after tripping and falling onto a hot grill at a Benihana restaurant in Encino, California. What seemingly started out as a great outing for the family ended on a sour note. Tori was seen with husband Dean McDermott, their children Liam, Stella, Hattie, and Finn along with Dean’s older son Jack as they embraced Easter Sunday, but it didn’t take long for things to take a turn.

Tori had posted a family photo on Instagram before the outing, but it seems that unfortunately, the day didn’t go as planned. Sources say that the family had been having a great outing, but as everybody got up to leave, Tori tripped and fell backwards onto the hibachi grill. Spelling suffered a burn on her right arm.

The Daily Mail shares some photos from the aftermath of the outing, with Tori examining the burn on her arm. While the burn didn’t necessarily look terribly severe in the photos, it seems that ultimately, doctors felt she needed some intensive medical attention.

Tori is said to have gone home and tried to take care of the burn on her own, but the next day she was reportedly in a lot of pain. It seems that her doctor reportedly wanted her to head to the Grossman Burn Center to get some help. Once there, sources indicate that the doctors felt that Spelling needed a skin graft to repair the damaged area.

The True Tori stars have managed to stay mostly out of the headlines in recent months. However, Tori Spelling’s hospitalization interestingly comes just days after new Dean McDermott cheating rumors started to surface. Hollywood Life claims that Dean and his ex-wife Mary Jo Eustace have reconnected, though fans aren’t necessarily convinced.

True Tori fans hope that Tori Spelling’s hospitalization and recovery don’t cause the star too much pain or trouble, given how complicated her life has been over the course of the past couple of years. It certainly seemed that the Benihana outing was a fun time initially for Tori’s family and friends, and unfortunately, things veered off-course by a trip and fall right at the end.

Despite the burn and subsequent issues, Tori has seemingly been in pretty good spirits according to her social media posts. The day of the incident she did reference the burn via an Instagram post, though so far she hasn’t gone into detail about the subsequent treatment needed. She has, however, posted other photos about Easter and the kids.

This isn’t the only Tori Spelling hospitalization incident to hit the headlines in the past year. However, it may be one of the most unique the True Tori star has had and fans hope that she makes a quick and full recovery.
