Woman 65 Pregnant: Woman With 13 Kids Is Expecting Quadruplets At Age 65

A woman, 65, is pregnant with quadruplets. According to Yahoo! News, the pregnant woman lives in Berlin, Germany, and already has 13 children of her own. Annegret Raunigk tried to get pregnant via artificial insemination after her 9-year-old daughter said she wanted a baby brother or sister. Raunigk says that she’s not afraid of what lies ahead because she has plenty of experience being pregnant.

As for her advanced age, she says that she plans to remain “healthy and fit” to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible with this pregnancy (which will more than likely be her last).

The 65-year-old woman who is pregnant will become the oldest woman to have quadruplets… ever. According to the New York Daily News, Raunigk already has grandchildren — seven of them — and is supposed to be retiring from teaching this year. Despite being at an advanced age, Raunigk seems ready to take on this challenge. There is no doubt that she’s going to have a hard time with four babies. Anyone would have a hard time with four infants!

Still, Raunigk seems to be taking the news well, and she said that she thought about it. She decided that she’s going to have these four children, and she’s going to care for them just as she did her other 13.

“Sure, it was a shock for me. Once the physician established that there are four babies inside me, then I had to do some thinking,” Raunigk said. Ultimately, however, she decided that she didn’t want to have an abortion, something that her doctors suggested.

The woman, 65, who is pregnant with quadruplets is well-known in Germany. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, she made headlines when she was pregnant with her 13th child at age 52. That said, you can probably imagine how her big baby news has taken the local media by storm this time around. It’s fine, however, because Raunigk doesn’t really care what other people think.

“I always find it very aggravating that one has to fulfill certain clichés. I think that one has to decide for oneself, stick to one’s opinion and not allow oneself to be influenced too much by others. If someone one gossips about others I think they mustn’t have a very interesting life.”

So far, everything has gone well for Raunigk, and her four babies are due this summer.
