‘Teen Mom OG’ Stars Attend MTV Movie Awards For First Time: Details
Teen Mom OG is one of MTV’s most popular shows. However, for the first four seasons of the show, which features Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Farrah Abraham, and Catelynn Lowell, the network didn’t allow its stars to attend any star studded events including things like the annual MTV Movie Awards. By having the girls attend, some feared that it would glamorize teen pregnancy, something that the show has already been accused of doing. However, now in its fifth season and with things much different than years past, MTV invited the OG stars to the MTV Movie Awards, but not all were in attendance.
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report that the Teen Mom OG stars had been invited to the event. On Saturday night, The Ashley broke the story and confirmed that a handful of the stars would be there. The site was right in their report as Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham all showed up to the event. It is assumed that Maci Bookout was also invited, but that she did not attend. Gary Shirley and Ryan Edwards were invited, but the two declined to attend. Gary took to Twitter to talk about why he didn’t attend the show.

It turns out, though, that while MTV may have invited the Teen Mom OG cast to the MTV Movie Awards, they didn’t foot the bill for travel. If the stars wanted to attend, they had to find their own way to the show, which was held in Los Angeles.
Although she didn’t attend, Maci Bookout tweeted about the event.

Amber Portwood was at the event with her boyfriend, Matt, and most fans agree that she looked amazing. She and Matt had fifth row seats to the event and shared some selfies of themselves on Twitter. Since being released from prison, Amber has maintained a stay positive attitude, and it has been working out well for her. Most fans noted that she looked healthy and amazing on the red carpet, as well as in all the photos that she shared.

Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell met up with fellow Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham on the red carpet, and they all posed together for some photos. Farrah attended the event with her boyfriend, Simon Saran, who will appear on Teen Mom later this season.
Since the first season of the show, things have changed a lot. Amber Portwood has been to prison, Catelynn Lowell has had a baby, and Maci Bookout is pregnant with her second child. However, things have changed most for Farrah Abraham who used her reality show fame to jumpstart a career in the adult entertainment business. Not only that, but she will be starting her own restaurant and, as previously reported by the Inquisitr, has plans to get her Doctorate and become a plastic surgeon.
