‘RHONY’ Bethenny Frankel Talks Supposed Feud With Heather Thomson

Will viewers of season 7 of The Real Housewives of New York City see returning housewife Bethenny Frankel butting heads with Heather Thomson? There have been numerous headlines from various websites stating that Bethenny and Heather fought with one another while filming the season. A preview clip for the season shows Bethenny and Heather having some tense moments. In one scene, Heather tells Bethenny that she’s a know it all. “Maybe I know it all…” counters Bethenny.

In an interview with All Things Real Housewives, posted on Thursday, Bethenny said that the talk of her feuding with Heather is exaggerated. Bethenny said that she actually really likes Heather.

“Yeah, I think it’s a little sensationalized. I mean we definitely had our moments on the show, which you will see, but I really like her. I think she’s interesting. She’s got a lot going on. She’s a businesswoman to be respected. She’s been in a business for 25-years, so she has a lot of knowledge and experience. She has a child with health concerns and what seems to be a solid marriage and I like her. I had my moments, but you’re also talking about two people that don’t know each other and she’s coming into my life at a time when I’m going through something really personal and she’s very, very friendly and she’s got her own style. It’s like dogs, you kind of have to sniff each other a little bit before you figure out what the rhythm is. [laughs] Everyone is loving to write that it’s a big rivalry and I like her. I mean there are moments, but I have moments with a lot of people.”

While Bethenny Frankel had her moments with Heather Thomson, she didn’t have any bad moments with Heather’s good friend Carole Radziwill. Bethenny said in her interview that she immediately connected with Carole and that she thinks that Carole will be a “real friend” in her life outside of the show. Perhaps viewers will see Carole trying to be the mediator when Bethenny and Heather have their moments?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman recently remarked that the current season is better than the previous ones, thanks to the departure of Aviva Drescher, whom they said was so hungry for fame that she would do and say anything. Early on in the previous season, Aviva even accused Carole Radziwill of not writing her books. Interestingly enough, Bethenny Frankel was the reason why Aviva was on The Real Housewives of New York City. In June 2012, Bethenny told the NY Daily News that she helped cast Aviva on the show.

“I don’t know her well, but a couple of years ago, I recommended her, and it didn’t happen. And I was talking to [Bravo executive] Andy Cohen and I said, ‘Why did you not look at that girl, the woman Aviva?’ And he said, ‘I don’t even know who you’re talking about.’ And I said, ‘Go back and find the tape of that woman. I think she would probably be a good housewife.’ So here we are.”
