Chris Soules As Hercules And Other ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Disney Night Spoilers

Chris Soules earned the nickname “Prince Farming” while starring on The Bachelor, but the beefy boy from Iowa isn’t going to play a prince during Disney night on Dancing with the Stars. Instead, the reality show star will get to transform into the son of a Greek god.

According to BuddyTV, ABC has released a list of the Disney songs that the celebrities and their pro partners will dance to Monday night on Dancing with the Stars. Chris Soules and Witney Carson will be doing the quickstep to “Zero to Hero” from the movie Hercules, and the ditty was definitely the perfect pick for the Bachelor star — he started at the bottom of the DWTS leaderboard, and he’s hoping to become Witney’s hero by fighting his way to the top.

But there’s bad news for poor unfortunate Chris Soules — a few of his fellow competitors will dance to Disney songs that will probably be more popular with Dancing with the Stars viewers. For instance, Val Chmerkovskiy and Rumer Willis will tango to “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid. Because it’s a song that the movie’s villain sings, perhaps Rumer will dress up like Ursula instead of Ariel.

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess will perform a foxtrot to the most romantic tune of the bunch, “A Whole New World” from Aladdin. However, Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough scored the best song of the night — they’ll get to take advantage of Frozen fever by performing a jazz routine to “Love is an Open Door.”

Patti LaBelle will make one diva-licious Blue Fairy while waltzing with Artem Chigvintsev to “When You Wish Upon a Star” from Pinocchio, and Willow Shields will also rock a blue dress to transform into the titular hero from Alice in Wonderland. She and Mark Ballas will perform the Viennese waltz to “Alice’s Theme.”

Riker Lynch will embrace his inner rock star yet again by dressing like Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. He and Allison Holker will dance the Paso Doble to “He’s a Pirate.” They’re not the only couple who scored a song from a Disney movie that features live-action characters — Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson will quickstep to “Step in Time” from Mary Poppins. Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani are the only pair who scored a song from a Disney movie featuring animals as the main characters, and viewers can only hope that they dress up like puppies in love to perform a jazz routine to “He’s a Tramp” from Lady and the Tramp.

As you can see, Disney night is going to be extremely competitive, so Chris Soules really needs to get his head in the game. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Chris slipped up majorly last week, and he landed up at the bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 27. The judges were critical of his lack of chemistry with pro partner Witney Carson. They speculated that Soules may be struggling to connect with Carson because he’s always worrying about what fiancee Whitney Bischoff thinks of his sexy partner.

However, during an interview with E! News, Chris Soules blamed his two left feet for making it look like he and Witney Carson aren’t connecting.

“If there was any hesitancy in chemistry. It was because of the fact I was maybe a little bit unsure at the beginning and then I settled in and felt comfortable. We do have great dancing chemistry and if it’s not being shown it’s my fault just because I maybe don’t know the dance as well, it’s not because the chemistry isn’t there.”

While he plays Hercules Monday night on Dancing with the Stars, perhaps Chris should simply try to get into character by making his performance all about strength — he just needs to visualize himself working on his farm so that he can toss Witney around like a bale of hay.

You can check out the Hercules tune that Chris Soules and Witney Carson will be dancing to below. Witney will likely dress up like Megara, but the animated character looks more like Season 18 winner Meryl Davis.

Do you think Hercules will be the hero that Chris Soules needs, or is it too late for The Bachelor star to change the Fates’ plans for his DWTS run?
