Is Joe Gorga Refusing To Help Teresa Giudice’s Husband Commute Their Daughters To & From School?

Joe Gorga isn’t helping the Giudice family commute their daughters to school. Last week, as the Inquisitr reported, Joe Giudice’s driver’s license was suspended, leaving him unable to transport his daughter to school and other activities. However, when it comes to giving his brother-in-law a hand with the kids, Joe Gorga confirmed he was not involved.

“No,” Joe Gorga told Radar Online’s Tom Murro when asked whether or not he would be driving his sister’s four daughters around.

While Joe Gorga’s answer certainly doesn’t mean he and his wife, Melissa, are “refusing” to help Giudice, there have been reports that the Gorgas and Giudices’ relationship is strained.

On episodes of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, fans have seen the two couples at odds, but during the series’ sixth season, which aired on Bravo last summer, things appeared to have taken a positive turn. During the season prior, Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice were involved in a physical altercation. Although the incident was certainly not great for their relationship, it led them to seek therapy, which ultimately improved their time together.

That said, last month, during an appearance on Good Day New York, Joe Gorga’s wife, Melissa, confirmed she had not seen her sister-in-law, Teresa, since she entered prison on January 5, 2015. She has, however, seen Teresa’s daughters.

“I’ve seen them, yes,” Melissa said.

“They see my mother-in-law a lot, my mother-in-law helps out a lot, and I’m constantly … saying, ‘What can I do?’ ‘What can I do?’ ‘Where can I drive?’ ‘Where can I bring them?’ And they’re always like we got it, we got it, we got it, but you know … everybody’s good.”

While Melissa and Joe Gorga’s assistance wasn’t needed at the time, Giudice hinted at needing help during his court appearance earlier this month.

“Joe was saying that he didn’t know how his girls were going to get home from school and that he was worried about them,” Tom Murro, an eyewitness at the New Jersey courthouse, told Radar Online on April 3.

In addition to his license being suspended, Giudice was ordered to pay a $10,000 fine and sentenced to 18 months behind bars. Giudice won’t actually serve an additional year-and-a-half, however, because his sentence will run concurrently with his 41-month federal sentence, which he’ll begin serving early next year.

Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa, are expected to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for Season 7 later this year.
