Bobby Flay, Stephanie March Split: Marriage ‘Deteriorating’

Bobby Flay and Stephanie March are reportedly separated and could be heading for divorce.

According to TMZ, Flay moved out of the couple’s New York City home three weeks ago.

The report further states that both Bobby Flay and Stephanie March have hired attorneys and are talking about divorce.

Since Bobby and Stephanie were married in February 2005, they were able to cross an impressive milestone this year — their 10th wedding anniversary. However, to say that the couple “celebrated” the milestone together on their big day would apparently not be true.

Bobby Flay reportedly spent that time at a wine festival in Florida. However, the celebrity chef enjoyed the experience with his team of assistants instead of his longtime wife.

TMZ reports that the couple’s marital issues did not just begin with the distance between them during their 10th wedding anniversary.

“The marriage has been deteriorating over the past year-and-a-half.”

Insiders reportedly told TMZ that the couple’s issues hit a breaking point when Bobby Flay did not show up to support Stephanie March in the hospital when her appendix burst until the day after it happened.

“[Stephanie] was livid when she claims he said he was busy with work and had to leave before she was discharged… but offered to send his assistant to help out.”

If the couple officially files for divorce, it would be a first for Stephanie March. However, it would not be a first for Bobby Flay.

The 50-year-old celebrity chef got divorced from another popular New York City chef, Debra Ponzek, in 1993 after nearly two years of marriage. He married his second wife, Kate Connelly, in 1995, but that marriage also ended in divorce. Therefore, a divorce from the Law and Order: SVU actress would mark Bobby Flay’s third.

Bobby Flay has one daughter from a previous relationship, but he and Stephanie March do not have any children together.
