Bethenny Frankel Talks Jason Hoppy, Divorce In New Book

Bethenny Frankel didn’t hold back when it came to writing her new book, I Suck at Relationships So You Don’t Have To. In addition to her stories of self-pleasure and first experiences with boyfriends, the Real Housewives of New York City star spoke of her 2012 split from husband Jason Hoppy.

On April 9, Radar Online reported of Bethenny Frankel’s divorce confessions.

In the book, Bethenny Frankel admitted to being “b—-y” at times in the years since her divorce and said she recently “beat herself up” and “obsessed” after a relationship fell apart.

“How could I have been so stupid?” Bethenny Frankel wrote. “How could I have been so blind?”

Although Bethenny Frankel’s marriage wasn’t what she anticipated it would be, she noted her 4-year-old daughter, Bryn, as the “silver lining.”

“I still believe in love…That doesn’t mean I don’t sometimes get grouchy, b*tchy, unhappy or mean. I’m still recovering from my divorce, and I may not ever be quite the same. It’s a brutal experience and it injures you, even if you were the one who wanted it.”

Bethenny Frankel went on to explain that while she and Hoppy exposed much of their life to the world in Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After, no one really knows what their relationship was truly like.

“Every relationship has secrets and indefinable energies and inner dynamics.”

Bethenny Frankel also noted Hoppy did not make as much money as she did, which, she claimed, “came back to bite me in the a**.”

“I didn’t expect him to equal my paycheck, but I also didn’t expect him to live off me and try to take from me all he could.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bethenny Frankel and her soon-to-be ex-husband’s latest fight allegedly involved a Season 7 premiere party for The Real Housewives of New York City, which Bethenny Frankel wanted to host at their Tribecca home.

“Jason didn’t want to have an apartment full of people on a school night disrupting Bryn’s sleeping,” a source told Radar Online of Bethenny Frankel’s reported fight with Hoppy.

“Jason told [Bethenny Frankel] to take the party somewhere else, and she wasn’t happy about it.”

Bethenny Frankel’s new book, I Suck at Relationships So You Don’t Have To hits bookstores on April 14.
